Keep the tin top and get a trailer tent? Doesn't help with stansing up but gives you pop top convenience and some high top storage...

Really don't like the look of high tops. Ive a kamper high top which has solid panels which can be opened to let in a lovely breeze. Want to sleep during a hot day, not a problem. Also good to do when cooking. Stops build up of condense. smoke. Plus, being insulated panels don't get the canvas noise in the wind or rained on when you get a sharp gust.

Hi im not getting the hightop either in my opinion it looks like an upside down boat on the roof, I much prefer my poptop, but everyone likes what they like.

Horses for courses ... if you can fit 2 adults, their 2 teenage offspring and all their tranklements for 3 weeks in Europe in a poptop then good luck to you. We couldn't foresee being able to when we had bought our panel van 9 years ago and we've subsequently been proved right.

We have a Westy PopTop and if I'm honest, would prefer it was a high top in winter but in the same vaine, love it in the summer when travelling around Europe.
As a couple, we don't have quite the same demands on space as Ian and the ability to zip down all three canvas panels on a blazing hot day or muggy night in Europe, make it much better for us, especially when sleeping.
I've always thought that poptop Trooper roof (the one in the picture) is genuis...best of both worlds infact....
Not the prettiest when up but darn practical.

I agree totally. If you have three panels rather than the original single front panel. The other brilliant thing about having the side panels is that if it rains when you are cooking on gas you can open one or both side panels to let air in and fumes out without getting wet.
