3 days Guided is good for us. Gives us time for trekking and cycling as well.
Driving licence blurb in a day or so.

Thanks for the info Barry and welcome aboard.

Haven't heard from Essex Nige for a while so can anyone confirm if he still intends to join us?

This is getting better!! Looks like it will be a good trip.

Like Syncropatrick and Harrymann 3 days guiding will be good for us so we can get some walking in (put on too much weight lately due to being desk bound and eating / drinking red wine too much!)

Looking forward to it :ok :ok

Please tell us when you need any deposits Rob.

A bit of progress:

Balance paid to Brittany Ferries last week - biggest single expense of the trip I think.

Spoke with Dave at Futbus last week. Going to book van in with him for a bit of preventive work after he gets back from Vanfest.

Getting there! :ok

Rob, What is the plan when we all get to Santander? Are we all coming to yours or going straight to the campsite? Have you got the details or website for the campsite so we can have a look at where were be staying.

Engine still not running in the van but should be sorted soon, and cant wait for a couple of weeks off. :D

http://www.campinglaviorna.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is the web site for the campsite. Its just east of Potes. Looks great. Does it require continental hook up adaptor Rob?

Have been checking the weather - in the 70's for the next week down there!!

See you Tuesday Dave.

Hi Dave

I was thinking that everyone could rendezvous at my place and then head up to the Picos on Monday 23rd together. What does everyone think??

You'll need a euro adaptor to hook up. They sell them on the ferry.

Have also read the Picos is the wettest part of Northern Spain; it can rain there for days on end in October and gets down to 5C so I will be mighty pleased if it is fine and sunny :D

The weather was hot and sunny for the whole of September and looks like it's going to continue through October but don't hold your breath!!
