Ordering the paint tomorrow and a couple of the spray cans for the tricky bits. I'm doing the Mini first and then the bus.
Fab idea and great thread! Still studying the paint chart to establish which of the whites is slightly warmer (creamy) and will update if it turns out a close match to the original colour. I have ordered from Rustoleum UK and they offer a paint mix facility for an extra 6-00 pounds and despatch same day.

Sound advice indeed.
However I can't wait. Paint on its way (ordered the Blue and a creamy white for a 2 tone effect ) started rubbing down yesterday.
New rear wings and odd welding taking place on Thursday. Roolering at the weekend. If dry.
Will try and post some pics.

Good luck at weekend ding-dang-dhu.
Theres a knack to getting mix right. All you're doing is thinning paint enough to be workable with the roller remember. Don't overdo the thinners and squeeze paint from roller gently - video demonstrates that. Watch those areas under the guttering - easy to forget as you get roller happy!
You can cover a lot in a short space of time - highly recommended that you have someone on hand to point out any sags or minor runs that you've missed. Deal with them quickly and its a major prob taken care of. Sanding back splodges isn't much fun. Working roller up and down and side to side (and vice versa) helps lose any roller lines. A good wash after rubbing down also removes paint dust that would otherwise get onto the roller.
A quick repeat view of the WIKI before you start helps too.

If you take a look at the link I posted above and click on the colour chart. I went for the Blue ( No ral number) and White ral 9010.
Saying its a creamy white was more of a matter of opinion rather than matter of fact. Having another look I agree there appears to be no difference in Whites.
Sorry about that.
