If they're whole panels, you'll have to use primer. You can't do a whole panel with Vactan. Red oxide?

Bits ive replaced arnt that big and have so far used an assortment of red oxide. Grey primer and the good old vactan. Vactan in the seam areas and then red oxide then a coat of grey primer . Aldi near me are all out of the grit blasters -bugger. Must be more t25 owners in this area than I thought

They only stock so many per branch - scour the others and fast if you want one.

Cov Kid, In the process of cutting back the topcoat of paint on my sliding door, I've noticed that I have an area where during rolling I've tried to get a line out too late and I'm left with a slightly dimpled finish in places. Do you think that I could level the surface with cutting compound or should I try and flat the paint back some more. I've four coats of paint on her. Regards Rob :(

P.S. I'm using the compound available in Halfords should I be using G3?

Try and flat it back. You'll only highlight it if you use cutting compound. If worst comes to worst its not too bad to redo an area like that - if you flat back too far. By now you'll have got the hang of getting such marks out. :D

See what cutting compound others recommend. I like to use 1200 and only use cutting compound to restore the shine but I'm no way in the concours bracket anyway - for me its about protection.

At least 8 grit blasters available in my local ALDI.

Sliding door a nice area to roller actually and you can let roller run dry slightly once you get to a top ridge to save doing the whole door again. Depends where the mark is I suppose :D

Next month (April) is normally the one when you start prepping in the UK if you're going to roller. DVDs tend to run out very quickly around this time of year so if anyone wants one, order them now. Last year there was a three week gap until I got new supplies to the shop. Will try to keep ahead but its not always possible. Just letting you know.

anybody used it on the wheels and any tips for doing them? There are a couple of examples in the before and after thread but not sure if it is rustoleum on them. Mine look more than a bit shabby and I'm considering doing them with the same colour as the body but I'm not sure if its overkill. Its a standard cream upper and red lower half on the body, I'd probably go with the cream/white on the wheels.

Yes, many have painted the wheels with same. Just bear on mind that wheels get a fair bit of abuse so prepare well.
