You only tend to get bubbles with a completely fresh roller. If you work it on a piece of scrap or laminated board first, the roller settles down nicely. Looking great!

You will get loads of advice on here and people are great, its a good idea to say hi on the general chat thread and a bit about yourself/van etc some people get a bit touchy if you ask questions without an introduction.
Good luck with the paint and remember to post some pictures. :ok

Oldschool, I can really recommend the DVD , I'm in the process of painting my bus and I've found it to a great source of knowledge. Christ mate if it helped me do mine then you'll find it easy too. Plus post a question here in connection with the paint job and there's advice to be had in abundance. The other thing about the DVD is that you can look at it at your leisure and plan the next stage and Ralph = Covkid always checks this thread and he's the Oracle on painting with a roller. :ok

Hi all,

Needing help again! I have already rollered my van - looks mint! But I am now wanting to do another one I have aquired but need help with the colours. Its a T25 Devon in bamboo yellow (H1B B5) and ivory (567 B9). I am wanting as close to these as possible - even willing to get them mixed but want it in rustoleum combi. I've looked at the colour chart and their light ivory isn't close, only the white looks it.

Has anyone an idea which colours would be best, or what do I ask for if I want it mixing - don't want to sound stupid when I ring up :? - and hoping one of you guys can help me out!

Cheers, :ok

After looking at Llamapup's van images and mixing I am going to give mixing a go. I have bought the paint from a local supplier to me in Bury, near Manchester. Their website is http://www.rustoleum.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and you can buy direct online or they have a shop. I am going picking combicolour 1021 (yellow darker than 1018) and 9010 white.

Rick there is very helpful plus an extra 10% off if you quote your membership number!!!

so give them a look if you looking to buy, cheapest I could get it at anyway with or wihout delivery - picking up tomorrow so fingers crossed for some dry weather over the weekend!! Mixing and paint matching here I come!!
