OK, Just booked the Plymouth Santander outward sailing on the 23 October and returning on the Santanter Portsmouth 31st October....Looking forward to the trip and having a few beers on the boat with some old [long time not not seen] mates
And hopefully some new ones too - we're booked on the same sailings. Really looking forwad to this. Rob seems to have found the perfect spot for camping.
Out of interest Terry, how much did you pay in the end? We got the return with an inside cabin for £554 about three weeks ago. Cost more because Santander back to Plymouth ends just before we want it.

I got an inside cabin as well, but seeing that my van is a T5 LWB [6metres] I had to pay £612 Never mind, I'll just have to rely on my fellow passengers buying the beer
Hi Rob
I'm afraid it's getting a little too expensive for me.
I'm self employed and work is hard to get at the moment so better I bow out now rather than later.
Many thanks for all your efforts...

Looks like there be a few of us on the outward journey. We have also booked for the 23rd, but were be staying a few days after and coming back to Portsmouth.
Sorry I'm a bit slow haven't been logged on for a few days.
My property owners membership number is F79897. Don't have a property in France but we go over often so make it worth joining. If you book online it ask on page three ( I Think ) just before you choose accomodation. You then get option of Full Member, Associate member or Guest. You need to pick guest option. They will check passports of persons travelling at the port so if someone tries to use full member to get more discount and I'm not with them then they will get charged the extra. Any probs give me a bell 07799887371. Cheers Rich
PS will email all details to Rob by Monday

New vans are great but they just ain't got no soul!
Sorry, forgot to include Dave & Rose of Futbus. That makes 5 so far although only 3 are confimed for the off-roading. I'd be greatful If everyone else could please let me know whether or not they're still coming.
I need the registration of the vehicle which will be used off-road and number of passengers. I also need a copy of the drivers driving license and passport. If anyone else intends driving the vehicle off-road I also need copies of their driving license and passport. Still plenty of time to send info, but I need to make sure enough people are coming to make the trip viable as people have already started to book ferries, etc.
Hi Rob,
Sorry for not replying before. We are currently in the wilds of Northumberland and not picking up many messages. We are definately on and have booked ferry. Reg is D 693 UGT. Is it ok if we send licence details when we get home on 030711?
Thanks again for all the organisation.

Just an idea, a suggestion if you have problems with low numbers and hence higher per unit costs for the off-road.
One or two of the French club may well be interested, although i say that without checking. I can try to get in touch to see if any are indeed taken by the idea, if you want.
