I will go to some syncro meets but when I have my camper up and running how I want it to be.
No I really want a full working vc not a dodgy one. And if it costs £600 then I want it to be top notch.

Tho I need to have the vc checked before I replace it.

I'll test it here, if you want to bring it over to Berko sometime, have a little track nearby

No, I meant I'd test it properly, like on the rough, and then on the road :D

Make sure they know it's 4WD;
make sure they know where the gears are too, so they don't wreck the box (I put a big printed diagram on the dashboard :D )
they won't of course be testing the 4WD;
once or twice I've actually removed the propshaft, just for the MOT 8) ;
don't take any "pooh" over emissions :wink: ;

now I trust them, am a bit more relaxed, always take to same tame lickle back-street garage, nearby.

Good luck then, fingers crossed for next Monday :ok

Insist on watching...it's a legal right and if they break it they can't really get out of it if you saw them do it. Also the lads in the garage can check you out and give marks out of ten etc...

Just worried if it dont pass. Might be due to hand brake.

Is it still legal to drive home from mot place if van fails?
