Best place to site a Propex heater?

It's being delivered today so will take a look at my original site idea plus the under the back seat idea too [which is where I planned to site the gas cylinder too]

I also wired in a AAA battery powered thermostatic 7 day timer but that didn't work too well because they are designed for houses and always try to maintain a minumum 5 degrees (frost protect) even between the on/off periods when you don't want the heater to come on, which is no good if you want a nice toasty van for work in the dead of winter as it will keep firing up all night if the temp is below 5 degrees

Which will need power wires from the battery and will use the existing thermostat but it will give me more control. Far cheaper than the propex timer which is £75 for the same thing :shock:
