How many people are going to be sleeping in it? How much stuff do you need for a couple of weeks away?

You can always add a roof rack.

10 days in Wales two adults and a 3 year old. And will tool stuff we didn't actually need.

Why is everyone getting all nasty now? every new thread on here seems to be having a dig at Cooper :?

Chill out everyone for god sake. She is after a deisel van that she can camp in, has taken on board what everyone has said and gone away from her first preferance of the RHD and even looked at a petrol or two and has come back to her first choice. There are lots of us with Syncros who dont use them just to go to work in or to go to Syncronaut events but like to travel in them and as Cooper has said all ready she wants to go to The Middle East so LPG is a definate NO I would say no matter where it is placed  and yes storage IS a big prioraty on longer trips overseas.

Nobody knows but maybe in three years time she might be on the commity and snear at what other choices people have made to there own vehicles.

Tom, sell her your caravelle. It's in her price range. She'll have the van she wants (diesel, part camper, diff lock) and you'll have money for your gearbox rebuild. Job done, everyone's happy :D

Jed can i be your friend :)?

To be fair i probably annoyed a few people but unintentially though.
Ive looked at petrol diesel lpg rhd lhd engine conversions and such. For me diesel is the way to go. And like jed said i do need the space.

To anyone who wants the blue syncro carevelle on ebay he said he would go to £5500 and i wouldnt pay more than that really.

I did look into middle east and most parts of eastern eu and some parts of eu dont do lpg.

Well there you go then, you have listened to what people have had to say and acted on it but it wasnt for you.

Its going to be your van after all :ok

I'm still waiting to find out what is happening with the parking at work. No news is good news.

It would be a sad day for me if I have to sell it. Plus I have my pennies saved for Aidan.

Cooper, the right one will turn up. And it will probably be offered via PM rather than you finding it advertised somewhere. I would Imagine most of the Syncro owners in the UK and a few in Europe now know what you are after! :D

My thoughts exactly, dust on the engine and nice shiney paint job equals recent respray, You'll not know whats under it till six months down the line and the rust starts to come through again.
