I am pretty sure 10% is the standard for dc but obviously lower the better. 5% is probably a better target to aim for so 15 AWG is the one. :ok

but if i have the higher amp wire i can always add things to it , by the way i managed to get an rm2122 to fit instead of my gas only fridge , is it worth wiring the 12v up or just use it on mains and gas ?

no harm in wiring it up Jeff.
You can use it as a cool box when driving on a long trip.
I use mine on the alternator, it keeps the frozen peas... frozen :D
