Thats the latch alright. Once the seat is in the full front position, don't sit on the seat, but get on your knees facing the seat, then using your right hand to grab the lower part of the seat, use your thumb on the same hand to hold the latch up, then extend your left arm, and use your left hand to assis your other hand to prise the seat off the rails.
I'm sure I could of probably explained that a bit better, but hopefully you get the idea.

Finnally managed to do it today!
The seat was very very stiff and took several kicks to get it to slide off. Either that or it was just 3rd time lucky...

I never knew about that catch! There you go always learning... I remember Daz saying he ground off the tabs so he could flip it around when parked up.
