Re: Oh My!!
I have heard of a RHD 16" Single cab which I will be making enquiries about. Now that is a rare beast. 1 owner!

Re: Oh My!!
Are you thinking of surreys worst kept secret? You should have come out on last years surrey lanes trip and you you could have heard all about it. Although only one person that I know has seen it in the flesh. I think that Stuart in s/a has a rhd 16inch vell for sale.

Re: Oh My!!
I wish I had seen this before I bought mine, I would have had it in a heartbeat.
I don't think I can cut holes in my panel to get it anything close to that.
Good luck with the sale Simon, hope you get the price that made it worth it.

Re: Oh My!!
He also has the winch off the front of that rhd 16" doka, before it fell into the hands of the current (very eccentric) owner. Whoever fancies it be prepared for a very, very long wait. It'll be a basket case before it becomes available, he will never part with it or any of the other vehicles in the field. They will all rot to pieces first and we will probably all be too old to be bothered with it by then...axeman wrote:Are you thinking of surreys worst kept secret? It's such a different van to drive now, my commute to Newcastle and back no longer requires gear changes on the hills and it's returning 28mpg

I'm made up, bargain price for a van with only 15k miles on since new, documentation to back it up as well

But... and I'm gutted, but ever since the change over if it's been standing still for over a week, it struggles to start and then backfires, usually on deacceleration. If I keep it reved above 1100 for a few minutes, its fine and drives really sweet again. If I use it everyday, it's fine

I shall open a new thread, don't want to start one on Simons!
