Mike,

Those 4 carb connections are to connect a 4 port manometer to balance them, leave those alone.

The left hand carb should have an extra port that looks just like those, maybe a little higher up, but for the vacuum advance to the distributor.

And as for the brake hose , you need someone to tap the inlet manifold and fit a hose barb on. Then you can connect up your existing brake vacuum servo hose to that barb....................Like mine.

Hope this helps.

I've just had another look at the diagram in my Dellorto Superformance book (pic attached).
On my carbs there is no attachment coming from the hole (No 7 on diagram) where the distributor vacuum port is (have a look at the picture of my carb from a the previous post).
And the two attachments that you can see are coming from holes besides the air by pass screws (No 6). This isn't indicated as anything in the tech book.
Does anyone know what these are?

Ahhhh, thanks.
That explains everything.
I'll get on to finding someone who can tap the inlet for me.
Purchase a breather box, attach the distributor vacuum hose to the correct port.
And then look for a place with a rolling road.

Cheers
Mike

another thread hijack....what throttle cable are you using? is it just a standard one? As I have the same setup on mine and the cable is knackered, has been joined before with one of those little electrical cable connectors

I've used the original cable, I made a new entry point through the tin ware so it would pull from the middle.
