The difference in width between chassis rails on bays and T3s isn't too great so you could always remove the section of chassis off the bay that holds the front torsion beam and replace with a T3 chassis section. The front syncro support structure will then bolt onto that. Do the same at the rear, removing the bay chassis from infront of the torsion bar section backwards and welding in the T3 crossmember and chassis rails with the gearbox, suspension mounts and whole rear suspension.
It'd end up a couple of inches wider (4 or 5 i think) than a bay but that shouldn't be too bad unless you are running huge wide wheels and tyres. You can always fit rubber spats to the arches.

Use one of Jake Rabys camper special type 4 engines (90 or so BHP and 120lbft torque) and it should have enough power too.
