Have it collected and taken to a garage BEFORE you cause a grand's worth of damage. Explain that it has an airlock and needs bleeding properly.

You see if this was up here one of us would have slipped round and sorted it for you .....

Lol, :ok the mechanic who came out lastnight had a quick look and thinks the rad is blocked, so will be back today, also found a few other probs so will have this sorted to, plus one of the front to back pipes is near to rusting right through, :( time to replace them both i think, not sure the best pipes to replace them with rubber or plastic. there is a set of stainless ones on ebay but dont think i can afford them this month . good luck with yours. jen

I'm pleased you've found the problem, but also not so pleased for your bank balance. The radiater sounds like my old one, blocked. Could it be blocked with the rust from the pipes?

I'm not sure which pipes are best, is there a recommendation in the wiki? Brickwerks also sell stainless pipes, http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php?p ... t&Itemid=3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope it's back on the road soon. :ok
