Do MV's have the idle stabiliser doobrey like the DJs?

When my DJ played up, weird charateristics, like not starting, or sudden low power, it was that, if it is the square grey electronic (there are two types I think) one you ca bypass it by plugging the male and female into each other (fnarr). Not sure about the other style one and if has any effects like this..

can't bypass it as no plugs to disconnect and plug together on the MV only thing would be swap out - Lee I have one in the van if you want it

well it was missfiring really bad tonight i checked fuel pressure and regulator fuel and timing all seemed fine. thinking it may be faulty plugs. will try bosch in tomorrow if that doesn`t fix it i`m taxing the delica and ripping the engine out. :lol:

An ignition switch on it's way out can give these symptoms. The voltage being given to the ecu can vary as the resistance inside the switch increases and can give all sorts of problems. See what the voltage is at the coil when she is running bad.

i want a big sledge hammer, maybe some tnt " may have that sorted " and a feild so i can smash it to pieces and then blow it in to outer space. i`ll take the nice new dizzy and afm off first. promise. :lol:

engine is comming out next friday whether i fix the bloody thing or not i may be tempted to just try an isc if the ign switch tests good tomorrow i`ve subtituted the live to the coil but in the engine bay. ign switch is now my favorite and my best. :oops:

I wonder if that engine bracket will allow the fitting of a VNT?

compulsive disorder, genuinely cant help myself should have thrown the bloody thing in ages ago. boxes done with washed sand.
