Right....my TT system on a late 2.1 wbx no injectors, carb and no oil cooler.....doesn't have the straps around the silencer. I questioned this when it was fitted, and the garage said a) the old straps wouldn't fit, and b)the silencer was lighter and the straps weren't necessary. TT said exactly the same when I queried it with him.

If your van is a keeper then stainless is the most cost effective way. Lifetime guarantee and no need to change it in 3-5 years when the mild steel one has gone rotten

we have a place up here AAS( advanced automotive systems) in Newburn, Newcastle I've heard nothing but good things about their stuff and from getting a price off them a few weeks ago definately competitive :ok
