Every bit is do-able if as you say you have the skill and$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ plus the inclination, sometimes its not worth the bother but if you fancy it then providing bus was cheap enough its one heck of a learning curve,
Ask before buying new stuff as lots of folk on here have s/hand that is good enough, panal wise jk are ok but there are shall we say a bit better out there.

Well fingers crossed for decent weather Thursday and il get some more pics on. Think a lot of the panels that came with the van are Schofield parts.
