plus the inverter to run it would cost more than a propex

Have you got shares in propex or something
Agree though, unless you're on hook up so 'lecy is "free" propex works good.

I've got a propex I bought for £250 off ebay last year. Haven't got around to fitting it as yet - keep saying I will tho!
My van isn't LPG tho, leisure or otherwise so am not sure if I would have to switch fridge and hob over to LPG as well or just run the propex of an LPG tank. Altho no idea where I'd put that!!
Don't you also have to have an external filler cap for ALL LPG now?

Don't forget Propex is not the only option. There's also Eberspacher and Webasto, among others, which run on petrol or diesel, are very easy to fit and don't require the hassle of an extra gas supply.
