Hi smokey.
Unfortunatly for ureself it is not the done thing amongst the syncro comunity.
I personaly dont now of any suspension parts made for this.
There will be some structurel mods to make to do this though
what about lowering just 40mm? or still a no go? have been off roading, took 4 jet washes to get the van clean! already thinking about getting a T25 to play with Thanks for the replies!
Ok I've got it now, lowering is a BAD thing, the thought will not cross my mind again...promise. I will hang my head in shame forever! Thanks for your help guys.
as you can see the syncro community is quite a conservative lot
they have a beer tent but actually drink PIMMS
I reckon you should go for it, has to happen sooner or later, just not with mine
It's your van, lower it if you want to, but make sure you set the geometry back up right afterwards or you'll kill your front tyres pretty quick.
Unless there are any lowering kits available for T25 Syncros your only option would be to get out the grinder - not ideal.
You could always go for Siekel springs, which are higher, but stiffer and give a very good on road ride (as in flat). They're a bit 'bouncy' off road though, unless your van's heavily loaded.
Personally I can't wait to get the stiff, lowered springs on my Syncro so I can go cane some roundabouts faster.
just a thought but if you're wanting to lower a 4wd van for performance reasons why not consider a T4? They're not known for their off-road prowess anyway and might be more adept to such a project...??

- Jake, you'll have your shades by the weekend mate -
You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape; If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
Anyone tried busmans raising kit? Our 16s suspension is looking very sad. Could be the generator, tv, central heating, monkey bike and all the other comforts weighing the old girl down. could be munas make up, hair straightners, irons etc ( she was talking about a dishwasher!)
Anyone?
