and that made me laugh out loud.

it definitely sounds like a pi$$ take because what are the logistics of tracing a random rubber seal to one particular owner unless you were certain the exact vehicle it was off. even if they could it would go to the address registered to the vehicle.
if it was your trucks original engine which had fallen out it would be just about feasible, or perhaps if you had left behind your front right outrigger with the chassis number on but otherwise, most definately a wind up.

Spoke to the enviro. agency today. They are now investigating it and will let me know in the next day or so.

Theres a couple of photoshop artists on this forum very capable of making 'official looking' forms; one in particular is staying very quiet

I dont think for a moment they would normally post bits of bumper and indicators or even rock sliders at great cost to the taxpayer; if anything they would keep hold of the evidence just in case you did it again.

But it is a criminal offense to impersonate an environmental offices.
I dont realy mind wether it is real or not. Who ever it is they have spent some time and money to save me time and money getting a new seal.
