In regards to what Boatbuilder is intending, could you use all those on anything underneath that is easily paintable?
And when should you be looking to do all this - haven't got the free time for about month - will i have missed the boat?

Yes of course, wire brush scrape do whatever you can/want/will/able then treat rust as with vactan or red lead whetever, just make sure its dry before applying anything

Bilt-Hamber Labs (Billericay) Dynax S-50 cavity wax
B-HL products are top notch. Their Dynax cavity wax is notable for being supplied in a useful DIY format, large aerosol with a 360 degree 2ft long wand. This is supposed to pentetrate into and behind rust, water and dirt that cannot be removed, and stay there, self-healing, like some of the Dinitrol waxes. Of course, make as good an effort as possible to rattle & blast or vacuum out as much as possible.
£12-95 for a large (750ml) aerosol seem pretty reasonable value, as with this system it gets to the places others might not?
