Speaking of ourselves in the third person now, are we?
What's next ...the royal "we" ?

The owner of that Multivan has a solid offer of €13k from a nice man in Sligo .... your part of the world .... and would like to get in touch with you. If you want to talk to him I can PM you his number. He is a lurking member here and owns a Dehler 2WD. You might already know him.

Meanwhile the owner of that Multivan currently has a tentative offer from Norway of €14,500 with the option of €500 + to deliver it to its new owner! Things to do at the weekend eh!

Hi.

I'm thinking of selling one of mine over the coming few weeks.

It's a 1987 1.6TD high-top RHD camper converted from an ambulance that originally saw life with the Mersey Ambulance Service. It has 100k miles on the clock which I would say is genuine.

It started life as a Syncro but when I bought it, it had a two wheel drive gearbox fitted. I have since bought a second-hand gearbox and prop shaft but have not yet fitted them. I will do this when time allows this autumn but am willing to sell it as it is if someone is interested in taking on a rolling project.

Over the last year it has had any necessary panel repairs done and been resprayed in Mango Green and Seagull Grey (classic T2 colours). I have refitted the interior with bespoke units and a Smev integrated three ring hob and sink. I have also fitted a 3/4 width rock and roll bed. The rear windows are all new, two of them sliding open. It has a new Fiammi roof light and I have fitted two swivel seat bases in the front.

I have recently fitted two new batteries and replaced the split-charge relay. The list goes on but that should give you a fair idea. I stripped out the old ambulance wiring and have simplified the interior wiring. The photos show a fridge (Electrolux RM122) but it does not currently have vents fitted so it will not be sold as having a fridge fitted. It has a long MOT and tax. This summer we had a three week family holiday in it through France, Germany & Switzerland - it ran well and we covered 2300 miles.

Why am I thinking of selling? Well, I've got another one and don't really need two!

Have a look at a few photos if you are interested. I'm not desparate to sell but will let it go as it is including the Syncro gearbox and propshaft. Otherwise I'll put it up for sale later in the year when I have re-Syncro-ised it.

Cheers.

Most unusual colour but it looks really good.

I withdrew my Multivan and its no longer for sale - the family rows were not worth it but I had an offer in from Norway at €15.5k and an offer locally for €13k. Time to talk with the insurance people about values I think.

Hi Lloydy,

Not sure if you are still looking although I have a one you may be interested in.

It's a 1990 16" syncro Westfalia Multivan with a pop-top so sleeps four. The engine is a new (not rebuilt) 1.6TD which was installed in Germany before it came over here, will have to look at paperwork but believe it's done around 30,000k's. Van has diff locks front and rear along with power steering and central locking. Also has some original Westfalia goodies such as spare wheel mount and tow bar.

It came over to the UK in '04 and have all relevant DVLA docs for UK registration.

It's a really nice dark blue with light grey interior. Mostly straight and original the van is currently having a bit of work done on it to sort out localised rust, new clutch, MOT, diff locks/VC tested etc and will be ready to go in a few weeks.

Please get in touch if interested.

Offers in the region of £12k.

Cheers
Sam

this looks ok...
http://www.quoka.de/nutzfahrzeuge/busse ... 33888.html
www.quoka.de is a good site, it regional search only so more of a pain to search but cos quoka is regional theres less traffic on it and i reckon the prices are a bit better.
good luck with the adventure ahead.
