Sad as it may be, I would not hesitate to ditch the tank, never get it right I dont think,
My tank holds 65ltrs and lasts 5 days for 2 of us,we always wild it and at a pinch it will do 7 days, coffee's ,hair washing ,other washing, cooking, as said it soon adds up and we keep a gallon spare i the back and sepparate water for the 4 legged mutt,
not tried swiss vasser, but not all uk water is good, here we have masses of toilet duck in the mains, water board deny it but sometimes it really stinks, so when we get good soft water its a luxury.

Hi There everyone, still need a tank, so if anyone could help out that would be great.
Have responded to some of the posts but haven't got a reply just yet.
Is there a campervan scrap yard anywhere that would possibly have spares?

Just use a flexible one - you can then take it out for cleaning if you wish - like these
flexible tanks I use one of these.

Our tank is external and mounted under the sliding door (under the floor). Basically its like a flatter external lorry tank. I was just thinking that it might be easier to fit and then you would have space under the seats; like wot we do. Ours is an original fitment by AS.

if you do a search on the "camping forum" you might get some ideas.

you might have to go underslung

Another shop for water tanks is
Leisure Shop Direct. Perhaps as someone else suggested, fit a tank under the van - the RV tanks on LSD are cheap and big enough to replace the literage from your old tank.
