I bagged a bargain from Makro shortly after christmas
A Nu-Tools 4-stroke 3.3Kva. starts first pull everytime and enough power to run a small village.
It says it runs at 98 DB which alarmed me somewhat when i bought it, but when its running it is not that loud at all, I have it mounted in my boc trailer and do not get that much vibration through the chasis when running.
Cost me £99 + VAT
keep an eye on the weekly newsletter as when they conme in they don't hang around

talking about generator noise, a chap i do some work for makes silencers for ducting systems and made me a silencer box for my genny, it fits over it like a box and has sound deadening wadding on the inside great for festivals etc (doesnt annoy your neighbours). it wasnt too expensive either. if anyone is interested tell me, i will ask him.
