Will this event be a paint scratcher / body wrecker? If not then we might do this one instead of SP in July

Doug (& others) will know the lanes that are planned and their scratchiness and difficulty. He might be persuaded to divulge an overall scratchiness rating. Its also usually possible to drive around the worst ones.

Some do tend to be undergrowthy/branchy sticky outy, deep sunken narrowy or rocky bashy bottom down that way... but then, that's what makes it a real challenge.

Doug .... help .....

Andrew, I think you must regard at least some of the Devon lanes close to the campsite as hostile towards shiny bodywork. However, if Roger and I plan it right one days laning couuld be in area that is a bit more, shall we say expansive rather than expensive!
The ad hoc South-West Syncro club had two outings earlier this year and if my memory serves me well the lanes we drove were relatively benign - I stand to be corrected by Roger though.

Sounds like we need two routes, as you know easy going is not my thing  but I do appreciate the time and money that people spend on their vehicles and I would not want to be responsible for damaging somebody elses van.
We will work on routes to keep every one sane but will not go to the extreme of pushing aside the undergrowth to get through for those who are really keen.
Safe to say there will be something for everyone :ok
