It's also confusing when summat "fixes itself" unless my van is protected by a ethreal white spell cast by someone in its past :roll: ( reminds my of that film "Christine" abought the yanky car that kept fixing itself !! )

Ghost 123uk- I like the film Christine.... always wanted a car to fix itself!! :shock: Hopefully the brick will, :roll: but it will only get worse later....

the air filter says it's got hydraulics

Wow that's alot of information!!

I'll take for a 30 minutes run and change the oil if the noise doesn't go away i'll cry! :cry:

Have you tried an engine flush mine done the same flushed it changed the oil and filter drive round the block purrs like a kitten
Techtrot25 the pissead formaly known a Stef998 back in the wallet draining world of t25 ownership

Was going to change the oil tonight/weekend

What engine flush did you use? Wynn's? or something like that?

Took it for a run did about 10 mile round town was out for about 30 mins or so, seemed to quieten down or I might have got in used to it!!? :roll:

I'll fire him up tonight to see if the noise is really better or I dreamt it!! :)

Got any recommendations? was planning on a semi synth fropm Hlford conforms to VW and Aduit and ASI 47 or whatever it is..

are Millers/Morris or Torco better?

Use a good quality mineral oil not synthetic or semi as they are to thin i used wynns engine flush in mine
