I've got an early TSR converted bus and whilst it all works (at least most of it did when I bought it...) I understand that the quality of their work hasn't improved much in the intervening years.
Don't go there - see my early posts...
Its now got one of Richard's exhausts (fruity!) and would recommend his components to anyone going the Fuji Heavy Indutries route. It's not the holy grail of engines - they do go wrong - but a good step up from the WBX.
If you want really good engineering, start robbing post offices and get a Porsche 996 in the back!
Regarding the engine electrics, I am giving some serious consideration to junking the now 20-year old management in favour of a brand new SIMTEK ecu which will enable me to use a later engine loom and sensors, the option of going turbo later, running two fuel maps (petrol and gas!) ditching the troublesome MAF sensor and generally future-proofing it for later tinkering. But that's just me.
