I see from your first post that your bulkhead behind the cab seats has been chopped up (same as mine!). Are you going to remove that or keep it? Do you have a bench seat? Sorry for all the questions, just interested!

Hopefully I'll be getting my bulkhead out tomorrow or early next week. I'm replacing it with a bar and keeping the bench seat. Can't wait to get rid of it!

I'd be interested how you do this, with some pics as well if possible, as I also have an LPG tank in the same place and am intending to fit a 3/4 RnR bed. Which bed are you using?
cheers
Patrick.

Hi there! I need to repair the padded top of the bulkhead on the missus' caravelle (the black vinyl is shredded)
Is yours any good? Not sure how it removes, mind!

Im in Liscard Wallasey mate, just about to take the interior out on mine but its going back in as its in good nick, I just want to check behind it all before the camping season really kicks off make sure all is a ok, then get my propex fitted and a split charger so if you see a mushroom cloud over Wallasey thats just me cocking up the propex installation.

All looking good folks, I'm about to start refitting my Autohomes interior but replacing all the lining 'cards' with thin ply.

Posler.. how thin is 'thin' for your ply sheet ?? 2 - 3 mm ? Also, did you have to screw it to the interior to get it to stay put. I was hoping to use panel clips on mine so the cards could be removed more easily for inspecting the panel voids after every winter..

Hi bunnynogood the plywood i'm using is 3mm seems pretty good to use and light weight and im using screws to hold in position seems theirs enough holes in the van already :?

hope that helps abit ive got a devon wardrobe and over head locker to put in the van now so i'll have to recut some of my plylining!? but its all good :ok

Ahem! Already gone or not yet done? I have a "wanted" out for one - it's held in by screws covered by little black caps (need those too) Ta!

Hello everyone how are the projects coming along ive had a few unproductive weekends, until last weekend ive finally vactan'd around the van it seems like very good stuff went abit mad and slapped it all over the place

Image

and i finally cut out the rest of the bulkhead and recycled it to make a new section of the RnR bed frame (which was causing me lots of problems with lpg tank) but its a perfect fit

Hi Posler. Starting to come on there I see. :ok I've been slowly getting there, some very unproductive (weather forced!!) weekends. I've got a few photos which i'll put up over the weekend, hopefully i'll have my rnr bed in and a raised plynth at the back by then....

Are you planning on covering your ply panels? I've been struggling with the really rubbish JK plastic clip things so thinking i'm going to screw my panels on too, but then might come unstuck on the vinyl covering.
