Didn't Dia make a set of 16" arms by very carefully chopping up 4 standard arms and welding them up to give an extra inch ...... ?

The white bit is an unmodified trailing positioned beneath to show the extent of the modification.

This is the proper way to achieve tyre clearance on a rear arm - not like some of the 'efforts' Ive seen with bits of angle iron stuck on willy nilly!!

None whatsoever, until you go 16" Syncro (although the toe-in and camber settings are slighlty different ISTR)

Had them on the van for six months now, on and off road.

So that explains the cross-lateralled look as you pounded up "..ye olde greeene lane"

I take it you refer to the 'crabbing' my van currently displays.
When I swapped over trailing arms I set things up by eye but as its not 20/20 anymore the front is taking a slight different route to the back!
Once I have replaced all the bits of rubber I shall take it to Simon for alignment!
You and Jenny going to Si's bash at Scopwich?

No unfortunately not. The tyres on the doka are shot and we don't have a spare - also bit cold for under canvas.

We had a prior engagement anyway - we are part of a quiz team (4th year running) and 2 of our friends in the team are emigrating to New Zealand in the New Year, so last time together as a team.

Hope you all have a good time.
