i wonder what put him onto a syncro in the first place?

on the samba people say that he has gone to a deisel sportsmobile

Wouldn't a working fuel gauge and a refurbed & refilled AirCon have been money better spent?

VDO white gauges, 7k tacho, blind every other F***er coming the other way headlights ... very useful in Death Valley, I must say :roll:

As you say Clive, if you have a sweet running WBX you just don't need anything else. The problem comes when you dont.

I do like the American Zetec engine conversion. 1100 dollars for a brand new motor, OBD diagnostic plug. The most common engine on the planet at the moment with 17,000,000 units world wide, some of them made in Wales. A real plug and play engine conversion, and those Fo rd engines are very good.
