Ahhhhhhhhhh keith,Its starting too get a bit chilly tonight, in fact very chilly, that cosy glowing feeling is disipating fast, surely that warm glowing York benevolence should be easing it over my way, you know you will feel much better afterwards!

hi guys,this thread has probably answered our problems that we have with the slider on our van.since we bought it,the door has never closed properly,it always sticks out at the back.
I noticed that the inner rear catch looks like its been welded on,obviously not at the factory! But it is on an angle and so is the one on the door,and going by this thread it shouldnt be on an angle as its an 82 x reg.
Do you think this is why its never closed right or should it fit right as the rear inner has been changed too?

This won't be much use I fear but: I was going to change the rear catch on mine and weld the "pin" onto the pillar (removing the bracket). I've just a feeling that this could cause lot's of problems if done done "bang on". You certainly should have a straight catch, and not one at an angle!
Maybe you should cut the bracket off and buy my spare door!!
