Re: Leisure Battery

Post by Ian and Lins »

We fitted a car battery (same as the cranking battery) as a leisure battery. No probs with that but the charging relay gave up the ghost; no idea when. I only found out when the leisure battery went flat. BUT, using interior lights and ignition for the fridge it took months to discharge. Lights must have been dimming but I thought it must be me in my old age! So, for us, a car battery as leisure battery is fine.
Are we going on anything else?

No problem.

We are away this weekend at the brilliant Malpas Steam and Vintage rally :)

But after that, feel free to call on the number quoted, (working hours), and I will come and have a look, early evening, in return for a cup of tea :)

Hi John

Not sure if you got email reply? No worries about tonight more biscuits for me  . Give us a bell on 07590546225 and we'll rearrange.

Cheers
