I'm a new camper owner - I've used sleeping bags until now - but after all your comments I want to try quilts!! Sounds much cosier [/i]

i have a fleese blanket to sleep on and dont sleep straight on the bed/ seat material, cant take the seats / bed out into the washing machine.!

I have a lion proof blanket that will be our under blanket.

What is a lion proof blanket? or did you mean loin proof!

what a loon proof blanket - seems to be a need for those in these forums!!

we use sleeping bags when it is colder and quilts in the summer

yep, summer time, slider open, tailgate open, front doors open, quilt in cupboard..........

It's a big travel rug with a picture of a Tiger on it.

When the kids were little, we used to wrap ourselves up in it and the kids had to try and get to us ( a game ya see )

So, they played at being Lions, trying to get at the Tiger, and it has since been known as "The Lion proof blanket" by the whole family, and even some of our camping mates know it as that !!

off to take another pill now...

I always sleep on top of a fleece blanket (when i remmeber to get into my own van) like Mocki says you can wash it...noy like I have the continence issues he may have

Sheesh, do you lot sleep on top of a fleece blanket at home? Have sheets gone out of fashion or something?

Sheets? in a camper, I sleep on another thin duvet, much more comfy.

I must be missing something, is there no mattress in your camper then?
