What length? Have one in my garage from the RM212 that I sold, should be long enough but depends on where your vent is in relation to the flue. Let me know and will check if you are still after some.......

When you've got the fridge going on gas that flue gets nice and hot!I had my fridge running in the garden for the whole day when i was testing it all after service. I wouldnt put plastic anywhere near it!

No, I had the same misgivings.... So I did a bit of research. The Screwfix one is made of polypropylene which, apparently (thanks Wikipedia) "has a melting point of ~160°C (320°F), as determined by Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)". So there you have it. 160°C is pretty hot.

Anyway, in case anyone's interested, at the risk of a fiver I bought one and had it attached to the fridge on the workbench on full burn for 45 minutes. It got warm but showed no sign of melt. Think I'll probably bung it into the van - and monitor closely of course.

'Differential scanning calorimetry'
Tell you what.......i wouldn't be arguing with that!
I stand corrected :D Plastic and heat just dont sit comfortably with me but , if it works for you , then make sure you let us all know the results........
