We had a little meeting Sat evening, chewing the fat about the 25 Year event next April

Met Mike Plompmen, and the 8 lowlanders and Henning (Syncro Services) from Germany and 'The Beligian' and all the usual Syncronaut suspects

Drank some Belgian beer, thanks Mike, Orval my favourite!

Lovely weather, a good day out!

Sorry I had to leave; could not stand around watching you all drinking 12 per cent beers and not being able to sample. We got out with no bother 8)

Nice to see you all and meet the Lowlanders and friends.

What was the upshot of the talk ?

I think I missed out on a lot of the fun staying off site + having a bet on with a mate of no drinking in September put a dampner on things, next year I think a roof tent is in order.

Still I had a successfull mission all in all got most of what I came for inc, opening quarter lights and a pair of captains seats although the latter do smell of wee!
Truck ran faultlessly all the way there and back and was happy at 70/75mph down the motorway on the 300 mile round trip, it's only used to trips of about 8 to 10 miles over here where its lucky if it hits 70 then only for a minute if that.

We've done a little write up in the 25years forum.

Had a very busy day but hardly saw anything

Must go for the weekend next year.

The writeup about the little meeting we held is on the private Organisers part of the forum. When arrangements and the organisation have been firmed up a bit more, we will put more information on the 25 years event website and on this forum too.

The main thing is that we have the dates: 30th April to 3rd May 2010

and the location: Mammutpark, Stadtoldendorf

Once the entry price has been fixed we will tell you how to book. The syncronauts will be co-ordinating the UK and Irish bookings so that you don't have to pay bank transfer charges individually.
