We was down that way for our 2 weeks this year, but had to take the car. Van is poorly. We travelled from Le Havre through Caen and Rennes to St Nazaire and stayed near the salt fields at Guerande. Moved down the west coast through Noirmoutier, Ile d'Oleron before heading inland to Saintes and Bordeaux through the vineyards before finishing up at Andernos les Bains and Cap Ferret on the Arcachon bassin. Long old way but some beautiful places and great food. Made it back to Honfleur near the Pont de Normandie in a day, but remember we were travelling by car, not van, so were able to get the hammer down.
