Help please - struggling to attach awning to van

We have four wee wedgie things i made from 6X2 wood , sloped each end , put them in front of each wheel on first arrival then drive up onto em; we leave them behind and drive back up onto em, sometimes i miss due to being in a theakstons or marstons area , but tends to be near enough i find . Also v useful for van levelling , makes sleeping so much better ( if not in theakston etc )

bright yellow plastic pegs are the way to go !! middle of each wheel a few inches out
