Nah, just buy the prewired ones, less hassle. Search for 'prewired 12v LEDs' on ebay. You can also get em with chrome bezels if you want a finish to them. Just screw the finished pipe along one side of the bus or both sides if you like. Lights interior great and relatively low consumption.
Mind you, in hindsight it might be cheaper (and easier) to buy an LED strip. They come in long lengths some of them. Again - ebay
