Also, any man who's opening conversational gambit is "nice hat, what do you know about sex?" is usually best deflected..........I mean, friendly is good, and I did work for the NHS with a speciality in sexual health, but I'm pretty certain he couldn't tell that just by looking......

I think the main thrust here, is what it could if 'managed' properly - a haven. ou could litter pick for days and days, and it really now needs a year or more to recover from overuse.

Many locals and the local council want to stop the activity there - so as for image of off-roaders and enduros/trialers - is doing no-one any great favours.

As Russel says, fantastic terrain, and were it not for the state of the place, a real beauty spot.

Clearly different opinions, i've been going there for about ten years and what you say is probably all true so it must be the fact that i only go on a bike (obviously i take my bike IN a van) and perhaps my mentality, being a motorcyclist, and total disregard for all things H&S i've never had a problem (or seen or even heard of the Air Ambulance being called) i only mentioned the place because i thought you lot may have been missing something.Oh well, i suppose it's one less type of vehicle i shall have to ride around when they get stuck.
