good luck pete,

i had similar white smoke/steam problem and about to change rad cap, thermostat and a system air bleed so fingers crossed. seem to remember someone saying that on the t25 the oil and water do not come close on the headgasket so it could go and wouldn't see the usual white gunge in the oil as you would on say a conventional watercooled car engine. i have a worrying feeling that mine maybe head related but will let you know my findings after sunday.
It will be roadworthy one day.....Honest
