i had the same thing with mine!.i was going to tap it out to 16mm from 14mm but as time was getting late i thought i'd "temp fix" it (bodge) so i fitted an extra plug seal and re-tightened it, perfick!!!
have checked it regularly- no leaks yet :D will have another look at the next service.

No doubt I'll be back crying again after the MOT on Thursday...that exhaust is rusty as f*** and there's mucho smoke at startup. :cry:

Hope you are absolutely sure it can't drop out while you are driving as you can wreck your engine in seconds if you dump you oil while driving the van.

I made up a temporary bung for one of my earlier bangers by using an eight milimeter nut and bolt and an inch of 5/16" (I know its not metric) ID fuel tubing. Tightenning the bolt expanded the tube locking the thing in place and sealing the thead. Only to be recomended in eaxtream emergency though.
