Replaced starter motor, solenoid click, not turning over?

Hi guys, will update my profile.

Been a stressful weekend with family health problem over the weekend so I ended up chucking the van at my pet garage. No I hadn't replaced the bush as I was working from Haynes and it didn't say anything about it The starter was "new" from JK so couldn't understand why a simple replacement went wrong. Got the van back yesterday and the garage said there were problems with my fitting of it not gone properly (I did do it by torchlight!) plus some of the wiring failing.
