Changing the head on a AAZ - tips please

Are you sure all the injection pipes are nipped up nicely and not leaking (visible or not)

Did you take any good closeups of the head, block and gasket faces to show us?

What did the exhaust manifold ports look like, sometimes you can tell which cylinder is the one to inspect closely bu a difference in the port deposits, or of course the piston or head colour...

It does sound like its not running on one cylinder - just like it sounds when i havent nipped up an injection pipe.

Im going to take off the pipes and try again after a good inspection.

I didnt take of the exhuast manifold so i didnt get chance to inspect the ports.

It looks like i need to take the manifold off to inspect why its leaking.

I tried to cut corners by leaving on the manifolds when removing/re-fitting the head. It was heavy and awkward to do - but i cant see how i would have got the bolts in if the gasket was out at all.

I'll have a play later to see if i can get it running...
