Hmmmmm, all seemed well for a while. I decided to stay in Snowdonia for a couple of days and then we headed down to the Brecon Beacons (this morning I climbed "Lord Hereford's Knob" (I shlt you not!!!!)).
Brakes seemed fine - no noise, no smell, no smoke.
This afternoon we drove home to Bedfordshire (the weather was unrelentingly cr@p and I couldn't cope with smelly wet dogs in a smelly wet van any longer) and en route I noticed the front wheels were getting VERY hot and the breaks have started screeching again?!?!?!?!? Also, and I'm not totally sure because I have been trying to take it easy on the breaks, but coming through Milton Keynes (roundabout every 100 yards (what the hell is that about?)) the breaks seem to be less effective than before.
I'm going to take the van in to my local garage next week (there's a lad there who's a bit of a T25 fan and seems to know his stuff) and get them to check the brakes.
Ho hum, what fun!
Are my brakes broke?
