Just a general comment.
If you don't use a vehicle for some meonths and the fuel tank is not full, water will condense out of the air in the tank above the fuel onto the inner walls of the fuel and then run down the inner sides to the bottom of the tank. Result - water contaminated fuel.
So, if you are planning to lay up your vehicle, fill the tank up to the top an/or invest in a water separator to fit in the fuel line. My aged Land Rover has a water separator trap as part of the mechanical fuel pump on the side of the eghine block and water in fuel is not a problem, despite the very occasional use it gets currently - must get out more!
