I've just had a bloody nightmare getting hold of tints.
don't buy from Window Tint Film UK Ltd
I paid for films in may, I still havn't recieved anything and they don't want to know about it, royal mail cocked up and they are washing their hand of me.
no telephone number to swear at and emails are ignored.
really annoyed, it was only £30 but still
again, avoid

£200 seems to be the going rate round ere! Mine windows illegal and no pulls yet, mind you the german plates f&r and the imense speed of the standard engine may make them think its a waste o time...
Mirroed tint can very light internally but u can lose some privacy.

I own a tint shop in Newcastle and would like to say that tinting your front windows is not illegal. You have to have 70% of the light passing through the window which means if you have clear glass you can tint it but if you have green glass you cant. It will be introduced into the MOT in october 2007 and the police already have the gear to test it at the road side. If your windows allow below 30% of the light to pass through you can get points for it, If its between 30% and 70% its a fine. Im the only company in the north east that tells people this and wont fit anything illegal to the front doors and im loseing bussiness because of it but as far as im concerend I wont put my name to a illegal job. You can get clear films that filter the UV rays and lots of different colours for those that have clear glass. If you want to know more pm me and i will help any way I can.
