Have you tried and internet search of campsites in the area? We are members of the Caravan Club and have never had a problem finding a site or problems with booking a minimum number of nights, having said that, we do prefer smaller sites with hook-up.

Last Aug i was in Dresden, took the dog for the first time...it was my first attempt at a campsite in Germany...

Im planning on going back in the shagwagon this May...and again with the dog (hes a hit with the chicks!!!)
