This is a wekaness on the diesels and can stop you in your tracks if not careful... losing water, overheating, check this first and don't continue until its sorted.

Must admit its been weeping for months but its due to be sorted in the next few weeks (vans off the road for gearbox work now and its on the to do list while its sitting around). I've started getting fedup of the slight coolent consumption now anyway, its consumed my spare pot of G12+ topping it up in the last few months and at the price of that stuff that won't continue! The crack seems to only be on one of the mounting flanges rather than the pipeing part itself, meaning that crack couldn't propergate any further and it just made the houseing loose so weeped around the O ring where it joins the head. Of course that doesn't mean its the only crack forming in it and its bound to be more stressed than a uncracked part.
