Don't forget at this time of year when the general air temperature is in single figures steam from the combustion process will be more evident, just like it is after any clod start........

True but diesels love cold air and effeincy goes up big time which will reduce smoke.

In a turbo effeincy goes up a bit!
regardless of effeincy, the engine is still cold at startup so smoke will condense on the cold parts regardless. white smoke means cold somthing.....

Effiency goes up alot especailly with diesels.

Thats true if an inter cooler is fitted.

The JX dose not have an inter cooler.
